The Flame of Hope Award and Charity Matches
Winning the Cancer Research UK "Flame of Hope Award" for innovation in fund raising will always be one of our greatest achievements. The reason for this is that is was achieved with a huge team effort.
Through fishing matches, some of which were fancy dress, 3 Peaks challenges, walks and all kinds of team events.
Collectively we accepted this award of behalf of everyone who got involved in these events and donated, rasing over £30,000 for Cancer Research UK.
The matches were largely held at Todber Manor Fisheries.

Rosehip Red - The Time We Created Our Own Bait
In the 00s when we were with Mistral Baits, we approached Allan Parbarry about making our favourite Rosehip Isotonic boilie red. The classic bait had only ever been it's classic orange.
What's more, we asked for a donation to Cancer Research UK for every pack sold, something Allan agreed to!
Rosehip Red was so popular that the companies best selling bait on the year of release and had a prolific catch rate!
Jay's first carp on record!
A very long time ago now, somewhen in the mid 90s is the first picture we have of Jay holding a carp!
